A long-awaited return for many, Supreme‘s latest Nike SB collaborations lead them back to the doorstep of the iconic Dunk Low. Once being a part — and arguably close to the core — of the silhouette’s original craze, the streetwear institution is departing far away from the Cement prints of the originals. Instead, a more metallic motif takes shape, modifying the model quite subtly with jewel swooshes and their iconic branding. Toes, which break up the rest of the black-dressed smooth leathers, are finished with the shiny silver gloss, matching the rest of the accents and overt contrast embroidery with close semblance. “Supreme,” fittingly, is found sprawled right at the rear profile stitched against a backdrop of a star-shaped patch; logos elsewhere, however, are sparing with standard Nike type at the heel tabs and tongue but the red printed insoles quietly bring things back to the New York icon’s bold domain.
