When Ben Kirschner was designated with the task of revamping the AF1 he set out to create something completely different for the traditional basketball model. Instead of changing the silho itself he upgraded the materials to withstand the Fall/Winter elements. He added ballistic nylon to make the upper completely weatherproof. Along with this he added that elongated collar to give the shoe a new lease of life.
This latest iteration is triple ivory and that means three time as much fire. The all white crep features no swoosh, which is testament to the sneakers design that you still know it is a Nike crep. The tumbled leather is mad premium and the shoe is finished off with a contrast zip on the heel of the shoe.
