This new “White/Dark Grey/Gym Red” iteration uses a white leather upper with grey filling in the signature textured mudguard, outsole, and heel. Where they differ, however, is their use of materials, with this new release opting for what appears to be a grey suede mudguard rather than leather, as well as a chrome accent on the Jumpman tab. The heel is also a bit different, with grey filling in the signature “Jordan” branding which was white on the “Flint Grey.” Despite these changes, fans who have been hoping for a return of the 2003 pair should be more than satisfied with these.
Tumbled leather constructions crinkle at the edges of their various stitching while classic metallic hardware rests at the topmost parts of the eye stay as well as right at the profile. Soles as well as the rear webbing are dyed wholly in their focal greys, matching the almost pebbled textures of the mudguards and its adjacent foxing.
