Jordan Brand officially revealed its Summer 2021 retro collection at the top of the month, and one of the standout pieces was the Air Jordan 1 Court Purple. A women’s-exclusive style, the “Court Purple” is almost identical to the OG Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Purple” from 1985, and brings classic Air Jordan flair into a new generation.
The design is straightforward: uppers are constructed of premium tumbled white leather, with high-gloss metallic purple accents appearing on the Swooshes and collars. Further branding is added via a purple ball-and-wings logo on the lateral collar flap and a purple Nike Air tag on the white nylon tongue. White laces tie the top half together, and white midsoles work with purple insoles and outsoles to complete the look.
