The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG Goes Stealth Mode with “Black/Phantom” Colorway.
Following the release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Reverse Mocha” colorway, the latest iteration in the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low series has been revealed.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG will release in a “Black/Phantom” color scheme in December. The pair will follow previous iterations with similar design cues and co-branded details, and features an all-black upper made of canvas and leather with Phantom contrast stitching throughout. The sneaker comes equipped with three sets of laces. Lastly, a black midsole and outsole finish off the sneaker.
Tipped for a December 15th release will arrive in a mix of black and off-white, which is consistent with long-winded rumors of a second Air Jordan 1 Low OG release for the year. Here, La Flame has opted for a construction entirely in black nubuck and suede, with contrast stitching in off-white “Phantom” thread throughout. Sole units are served up with the same fate, as an all-black unit is tacked on with white stitching. There’s more monochrome threadwork in the rear, with Jordan Wings and a special insect motif that serves as a tribute to his daughter, Stormi. A pop of rich red sits at the Travis Scott-branded tongues, with a trio of included laces — red, houndstooth, and black — completing the design.
Travis Scott started his journey with Jordan Brand back in 2017 with an unreleased Trunner LX, followed by his Houston Oilers Air Jordan 4 in 2018.
