The Peter Moore-designed overlays around the forefoot, along the tongue and throughout the heel deliver faint contrast to their white underlays, boasting a haphazardly-faded “Hyper Royal”-reminiscent color. And while eye-catching, the faint blue merely plays a supporting role to the rich “Purple Pulse” that animates the suede profile swooshes and “nike” embroidery on the heel; a lighter shade of the hue also appears on the outsole. Although the latest style follows in the path of other Nike Dunks with its two-tone, standard sole unit, the tongue’s underside forgoes its traditional arrangement.
